What might happen when we plan for exploration instead of relying on fear to guide us?
One of the things I truly love talking about is ... our negative self talk and the fears that hold us back from moving forward in life to where we truly want to be.
I was thinking back to a particular freelancing job I once had, in my previous earthly life, as a User Experience Designer. In this capacity, I was working with various companies and industries to help make their digital presence and platforms more user friendly.
The particular freelancing contract I was reflecting on, had the exact opposite approach. In this job, we were given the problem the client had, and were given a few weeks to come up with as many solutions as we could - no matter how big, or how small, or if it required a small pot of gold from the end of every rainbow ever witnessed to make true.
The whole phase was about discovery, exploration and we were invited to go wild with our solutions to the problem we were given.
The next phase was the dwindling down one, where we would sit with the client and go through each and every idea, with the aim of staying with about 3. Sometimes ideas would merge together. Other times ideas would be wiped off the board in the same speed it took to put it up there in the first place, but every idea was valid and very seriously considered.
At the end of the phase, we will be divided into groups, each bringing an idea to a more 'realistic' stage, at which point we would meet again to see if it was at all viable, or may we were barking at the wrong tree. After that, we would stay with the ONE solution we would bring to fruition.
The point, and the reason why I am telling you this, is that we, as people individual people, don't usually give ourselves the same leeway when it comes to ideas, because we have a fantastically active negative voice that shoots everything down - even the most magnificent, relevant and life-changing ideas we ever come up with.
Tat tat tat!!
Now, what would it be like, if, instead of listening to the fears and impossibilities, we took a similar approach and allowed us to come up with anything that come to our minds? And only then start looking at what is in front of us - not with fear, but with leaning into it from our heart space? Is this thing calls us? Or maybe it no longer feels right now that we give it some more attention?
And if it feels right, and we 'swipe left' (or is it swipe right?), and stay with this idea, we can more consciously add more components to it, or maybe remove some, or colour it pink, or add rainbows... anything goes, because we are not operating from fears anymore. We are here. We are now.
You can use this in any problem that comes up...
- what business to start
- where to move to
- how to lose weight / start exercising
- how to attract anything or everything into your life
- really, this list is endless
Will you try?
By the way... Last week I was a little late with writing my weekly email. I muscle-tested with my subconscious mind if I should let it be or get up extra early to send it and the answer I got was 'there will be no email'.
Fine, thought I, letting go of the need for momentarily perfection, and went to sleep. As it happened, I did get up super early on Sunday to finish the email and send it out, but in true form, the email platform was down and didn't come up again until much later in the day. Surrendering is an art, letting go is one too!

This week in Healing Conversations...
This week, in Healing Conversations I was chatting with Gabriel Cousens about all things natural healing. I must say, the retreat he holds in June sounds truly fascinating - awakening mind, body and soul!
The episode kicks off with a heart-opening dance and a moving prayer, setting the stage for a discussion that’s as unconventional as it is inspiring. Gabriel shares his remarkable personal story, from surviving childhood illness to working with diverse communities around the world, including Native Americans and African nations. He describes his evolution from medical doctor and psychiatrist to spiritual guide, delving into holistic healing, plant-based nutrition, spiritual fasting, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
Together, Einav and Gabriel unpack the power of fasting—not only as physical detoxification, but as a catalyst for spiritual awakening and emotional transformation. Gabriel also discusses the importance of self-love, the release of limiting beliefs, and the impact of supportive communities on the healing process.
Whether you’re curious about holistic medicine, spiritual growth, fasting retreats, or simply want to be inspired by stories of healing against the odds, this episode is packed with wisdom, practical advice, and hope. Join us for a conversation that just might change the way you think about health, longevity, and the possibilities within us all.

Dottie's Tip Of The Week
![]() | My HUUUMANS keep repeating this thing they saw somewhere that says - "you'll never meet anything more tired than a bulldog that's been doing nothing all day..." They think it's both funny and true, and if not put on the spot, I guess I would tend to agree, but here is what I really look like when they suggest I come on a car ride with them! (I promise I do a similar thing when we go to the park, but in the car, I feel much more included and loved!). Sometimes, if left to our own devices (not your phones...) we may default to not sleeping on the sofa, so we should find the people and the inspiration to do the things that really excite us - because they are truly out there! |
