Taking a moment

What happens when you park life and get into the moment, sun included?

I don't remember this, but my mum tells me that when I was really young, the only thing that could get me out of any upset or sadness was having a shower. I could spend hours sitting on the floor with water running down my back, playing with my toys and being in a world of my own.
Today I still love my showers, but these days they are more dedicated to conversations with my guides and the Universe about whatever is going on in my life ๐Ÿ˜‚

My daughter replaced the shower idea with going to the park. There is a specific one not too far from where we live that is both massive and has hundreds of hidden paths. They can lead you into the forest, the fields next door, the kept gardens with their manor house, or just marsh land. It really does have it all.

Yesterday was a going to the park day.
We drove to the park (it is too far to just walk there) and silently walked over to the fields. Sitting down on a bench with not a word between us, she sat down and started writing in her journal, and I, not wanting to interfere, sat beside her, closed my eyes and let the glorious sun do its thing. (also, here's the sun, from yesterday, if you thought the UK doesn't ever get to see or feel it ๐Ÿ˜‡)

I cleared my mind and gratitude came.
- for being with my daughter
- for the sun, nature and being in the moment
- for leaving any worries or stress behind
- for being reminded that the only thing that truly matters is this; the connection with my loved one(s) and with nature.
- for being reminded that the answers we seek find their way to us, there need not be 'effort' in searching for them...


After the pause, we decided to go get some doughnuts, so yeah - the answers always find us as and when they need to.

My invitation for you for this week is to find your own moment in the sun, to be still. To invite the calm and the knowing that right now, right here and now, everything is exactly as it should be. And breathe. It's a wonderful world out there... ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

Dottie's Tip Of The Week

I was listening on something the HUUMAN was listening to. It said - what is more important? To have more positive thinking, or less negative thinking...?

I said, well, the only thing I think about is having more ham, but the correct answer seems to be - less negative thinking, because this is so embedded in us, and has so much negative power over us, that we must do less of that in order to get better in life.

I still think more ham could have the same results, but these HUMMANS still have a lot to learn, honestly!
